| | |  November 3/4, 2007 - Ruskoka Work Weekend #8 A dedicated group of volunteers prepared the camp for the cold winter ahead. Everyone worked hard, and also enjoyed the last of the fall colours. Work weekends will resume again in the spring of 2008. Watch this website for dates.
Thank you to all volunteers that worked throughout 2007, to run fundraising events, to open the camp, renovate the camp kitchen, run camp, and finally close camp for the winter. SPASIBO!

| | October 20/21, 2007 - Ruskoka Work Weekend #7 A small group of 11 volunteers and kids enjoyed the last of the warm weather. We completed the back wall and ceiling of the altar, erected a gate, cleaned up the firepits, and stocked up on logs in the house for the winter. Thank you to Henry, Luba, Katusha, Misha, Conner, Maxine, Andrew, Alik, Sophia, Marina, and Oleg.

| | September 22/23, 2007 - Ruskoka Mega Work Weekend #6 The sixth Ruskoka work weekend was another major accomplishment. Most of the work focused around the camp chapel: the chapel porch ceiling was completely finished, the entire exterior of the chapel was stained, the back wall of the altar was finished in pine boards, and brush around the chapel was cleaned up. Thank you to Alex, Volodya, Nika, Henry, Luba, Misha, Katusha, Marina, Veronica, Anna, Phillip, Artem, Georgy, Maxine, Andrew, Sophia, Alik, and Sergei for working hard and completing these major projects. | | September 8/9, 2007 - Ruskoka Work Weekend #5 The fifth Ruskoka work weekend was a huge success. A small but energetic and enthusisatic group of volunteers worked relentlessly to clean up the entire camp property and buildings after the camp season, and prepare camp for the winter. We completely cleaned out the camp office, camp kitchen, pavilion, pump room, cut trees and grass and also burned, swept, washed, fixed, cooked and enjoyed the last days of warm summer weather. It was nice to see some new work weekend volunteers. Thank you to Natasha, Marina, Victor, Masha, Dima, Eugene, Alexei, Natasha, Galina, Igor, Lucy, Igor, Andrei and Alik for your dedication and hard work!!

| | July 7/8, 2007 - Ruskoka Mega Work Weekend #4 The fourth Ruskoka work weekend was a huge success. 25 volunteers worked relentlessly to prepare Ruskoka for the upcoming Parish Feast Day, and for the camp several weeks later. We completed the camp kitchen, completely cleaned out the camp office and log room, finished painting, cut grass everywhere, cleared 6 trees, prepared food for the banquet, and also cleaned, burned, swept, washed, fixed, cooked and enjoyed the hot summer weather. Our younger volunteers came again and worked harder than ever! Thank you to Luba, Katusha, Misha, Henry, Nika, Michelle, Anna, Artem, Phillip, Sergei, Lera, Petya, Roma, Egor, Alik, Maxine, Andrew, Igor, Raissa, Oleg, Marina, Masha, Dasha, Alexander, and Victor for your dedication and hard work!!

We finished the renovations on the camp kitchen, cleaned, burned, swept, washed, fixed, cut grass and cleared trees, and enjoyed the hot summer weather. Our younger volunteers came again and worked harder than ever! | | June 2, 2007 - Ruskoka Mega Work Weekend #2 Twenty four Ruskoka volunteers came for our second Ruskoka work weekend of the season. We almost completed the major renovations on the new camp kitchen, cleaned, painted, cut and cleared trees, re-wired, and enjoyed the warm spring weather. Our younger volunteers removed the ceiling in the yellow trailer, cut grass and cleared the beach.
