About Ruskoka

Ruskoka Camp was founded in 2000 on a beautiful property winding along the shores of the Muskoka River. Since then, the camp has grown to become a centre for outdoor programs for Russian Orthodox youth. In June 2005, volunteers built a camp chapel in honour of the young martyr St. Alexis, who was considered to be the first boy scout in Russia.

Ruskoka Camp is run completely by volunteers, and we are deeply grateful to all those who have supported, donated, contributed and helped camp succeed. We plan to continue to grow as an organization and always are in need of volunteers. If you would like to help, please contact Alik Sakuta. Also, Ruskoka Camp survives on your donations. If you would like to donate please make a donation online or also contact Alik Sakuta.
